BKoD in Print on sale at B&N!

Hi everyone!

I wanted to give you a heads up that BKoD is now available in PRINT at B&N and all the European Amazon outlets. Currently B&N has it on SALE for ($8.99), which is a phenomenal price. It won’t stay like that forever, so jump on that if you’ve considered buying the print version. As an FYI, I had to increase the print book price so that I could put BKoD in extended distribution (ie, make it available at B&N, Book Depository, etc). It could take up to six weeks before you see it everywhere.

Also, I just did an interview with Mickey at I’m a Book Shark where, among other questions, I answer this question: Who do you think would make a great audiobook narrator for BRIGHTEST KIND OF DARKNESS? Hope you’ll check it out! 🙂

RECENT BKoD REVIEW

An interview and review of BKoD with Jean the Book Nerd! “Excitement, suspense, and mystery encircle this book. The storyline is unique and interesting. A truly creative plot that keeps the reader engaged and fascinated. Michelle’s writing method flows like liquid. She avoids confusing time frame skips which helped this remarkable story’s pace to not speed up, and more importantly, does not slow down. The mystery that envelops the story is gripping. It offered something new and exciting on each page which draws the reader in more and more.” Click here to read the entire review at Jean Book Nerd.

Ethan Harris from BRIGHTEST KIND OF DARKNESS

A while back I was asked on Twitter if I had an idea how I perceived Ethan from BRIGHTEST KIND OF DARKNESS. I’m usually a little leery about posting pictures that I feel represent characters in my books (mainly because I like readers to form how they think a character looks in their own minds), but since Valerie at Stuck in Books will be featuring Ethan on her blog this Monday, I thought it would be fun to give an “idea” what I think he might look like.

I’ll be honest, no ONE person really jumped out at me as Ethan, but a couple were close. So without further ado, here are few pictures that I feel represent Ethan.

Imagine the sharpness and intensity of Alex Pettyfer’s features….

merged with…

Jordan Nichols’ dark good looks. Then take him even darker. 🙂

That’s how I picture Ethan.

If you’re reading this first, don’t forget to hop over to Stuck in Books, where Valerie pops in on Ethan for an impromptu interview.  Finally, a glimpse of things from Ethan’s point-of-view.

Amazing Reviews, a Contest & Coming soon!

REVIEWS

Original in a Sea of YA Paranormal “… I’m incredibly selective with the self-published books I choose to review these days, and it must be said that I’ve been entirely certain as of late that I’ve heard every spin on the paranormal young adult genre that there could possibly be. Brightest Kind of Darkness proved me wrong in the best possible way. The story was solid and strong, alive with fast-paced action, heart-pounding suspense and a plot that grips you from start to finish…”  Click here to read the entire review at I Swim for Oceans

Absolutely loved it. Sucked me right in!! “… This story was so addicting. It was one of those books where you keep telling yourself you will stop after one more chapter, but you just can’t. I was so wrapped up in it that I didn’t even realize how late (or early) it was. I needed to finish it, but now that I am done I wish I still had more to read. I am definitely looking forward to the next one. This is a must read.  5 out of 5 stars!”  Click here to read the entire review at Book Loving Mom
