Reviews, Teaser Tuesday and Upcoming Events!

Whew, that’s a long blog post title. LOL!

NEW BKoD REVIEWS

Amazing book! “…This book was such an exciting page turner! I loved it! I was immediately hooked by this book’s unique storyline and awesome characters! The suspense kept me guessing until the very end and I LOVED watching Nara and Ethan’s relationship unfold. This was a very different type of YA book and was really entertaining! This is definately the type of story you will want to read over and over again!” ~ Branwen

Awesome concept and well executed “…Nara and Ethan are both interesting, layered characters. While their relationship occurs based on a paranormal connection, I was happy to see them spending time together and getting to know each other before declaring love and devotion, unlike in a lot of other books. Overall I was impressed with this book, and I would definitely read on in the series…”  ~ Click here to read the entire review on Book Labyrinth.

Event: I’ll be discussing book covers on Ex Libris’s blog tomorrow and how the cover for BRIGHTEST KIND OF DARKNESS came about, where I show before and after snapshots of the cover of BRIGHTEST KIND OF DARKNESS.

Scenic Sunday – The Sky’s the Limit

Good vs Evil Clouds - P.T. Michelle

The cloud photo above was so unusual because the sun was just hitting the tops of the trees and that one patch of clouds. My kids and I were laughing about the dark vs light because of the extreme colors. We called this one “Good vs Evil” clouds.  Then one of my kids said, “Hey, do you see the dog going after the ball?”  And sure enough it’s there. Do you see it? 🙂

Celestial Heavens - P.T. Michelle

This was the rarest thing I have ever seen… a pitch black night sky with pink clouds. Somewhere behind the dark sky the “already set” sun was still bouncing off the clouds and the bright moon helped reflect the colors. It was 9pm at night when I took this photo. This picture makes me think of celestial heavens. 🙂

Also, I wanted to share three more new reviews I received for BRIGHTEST KIND OF DARKNESS. I’ve posted a new page on my website where I’ve complied all the reviews HERE. The newest reviews will be marked with *NEW* beside them. Thanks so much to The Bookish Babes, The Bursting Bookshelf and Avery’s Book Nook for the awesome reviews!

Scenic Sunday – Fall is here!

Here are a couple of pics for SCENIC SUNDAY! Hope you’re enjoying the suddenly brisk weather (depending on what part of the world you reside in! 😉 )

BRIGHTEST KIND OF DARKNESS takes place in the fall. Here’s a snippet…

When I turned my car down our tree-lined street—currently an October kaleidoscope of burnt oranges, reds, yellows and deep purples—a concept we’d learned in Physics came back to me with a whole new meaning. To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Had anyone ever considered applying Newton’s 3rd Law of Motion on a metaphysical level? From small actions, other things could happen.

Terrible, unexpected things.
